How to remove the engine ventilation filter on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

Let's see how to remove the engine ventilation filter present on a Mini: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, secure the same with the auction. We open the ventilation kit (unscrew the tightening screws with a screwdriver), uncover the filter box panel and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the walls). Finally we reassemble the panel of the air box and tighten with the appropriate hooks. We close the front hood after maintenance.
