Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

We lift the car on a column bridge (if necessary, we disassemble the front wheel with a screwdriver the right stone guard of the wheel). With a fixed wrench we go to loosen the belt tensioner roller and remove the belt from its seat. With a socket wrench we go to unscrew the tightening pin of the belt tensioner roller, remove the water pump as in the video. We assemble the new water pump, the belt tensioner and the belt itself, we tighten everything with the socket wrench. Finally we mount the rivets with attached stone guards and refit the rim with the rubber on the car.

For this simple operation, you will need to release the bonnet from the appropriate lever to lift it. Next, for safety and to protect the more delicate circuits, disconnect the cables from the battery. You can now work directly on the motor located under the air intake box. Remove it by unscrewing the various bolts, then working from underneath your vehicle, reach the motor in question. Disconnect the connector that powers it and unscrew the bolts that secure it. Now, simply install the new one.
