Today's instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob for the Mini Cooper. First, we take our key fob and begin to remove the physical key from inside it; we remove the plastic back cover to access the battery compartment, thus removing the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new battery, of the correct type (in this case a 3V Cr 2032); insert it in the correct direction and check the functionality of the key fob, securing the plastic cover and inserting the physical key.
