Windshield Removal and Replacement

Model: Mini Mini - Years 1959-2000
Part: Windshield

Replacing the windshield is a delicate and potentially dangerous operation. To prevent accidental breakage of the glass during removal, protect the interior of the vehicle with covers to avoid glass shards spreading into the ventilation system. Also, use appropriate hand and eye protection. Start by removing the wipers to take it off. Next, use a sturdy plastic tool to remove the seal and trim around the glass. Proceed by lifting the windshield to remove it. It is advisable to carry out this operation using suction cups. With a tool, carefully clean the edge of any residue from the old seal. Position the new glass on the vehicle, preferably using the suction cups. Then gently insert the edge of the windshield into the rubber seal. A little water and soap will help with the operation. Refit the windshield trim and reattach the wipers.

How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulbs on a Peugeot 308

Are the rear lights on your Peugeot 308 SW not working? This video shows how to replace the damaged bulbs. Open the boot lid, and using a screwdriver, unscrew (with a socket wrench or screwdriver with a bit) the securing nuts located at the side of the rear headlight. Once the headlight is free from any constraints, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the damaged bulbs with identical ones in size and voltage. Finally, refit the headlight and reverse the assembly of the other parts.
