Let's see how to change the headlight trims on a Mini Cooper; we can find the chrome trims on AliExpress with the code 1005006310481259 for the price of 6.60 euros per pair plus 5.83 euros for shipping. Open the hood, clean the area around the headlight well, and from inside the engine compartment, look at the back of the trim; you will see the black clips that secure the headlight body to the metal frame. Do not pull on the outer chrome part, as it would break, but gently push the tabs of the clips towards the center to release them, or apply slight pressure from the back to the front on the trim itself. Once released, the trim will come off easily. Position the new one starting from one side and press firmly until you hear each clip snap into place. Make sure it is evenly aligned, close the hood, and visually check that the profile is uniform.
