How do you remove the rear light on a Mini? Use a plastic lever to remove the chrome trim and unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the light (with a screwdriver). Pry the light out, pull it from its seat, and disconnect the power connectors.

Now that the rear light is removed, compare it with the new one; if it matches the old one, you can fit it. Start by connecting the light connectors to the rear light and insert it into the car's body, pushing it towards the frame. Screw in the screws and finish the installation with the trim.

Test the correct operation of the lights.
