How to Clean the Injectors on a Mini Cooper

Today, you will learn how to clean the injectors on a Mini Cooper model R56. Open the front bonnet and remove the engine cover to access the injectors. Using a 10mm socket, unscrew the three screws that secure the injector cover and using an 18mm socket, unscrew the screws that secure the injectors. Using WD-40 spray sandpaper, clean the injector. With a microfiber cloth and the same spray, clean the inside of the injector housing. Perform this procedure on all injectors. Refit the injectors in the vehicle, tightening the nuts and screws, refit the engine cover, and start the vehicle to ensure the engine runs smoothly.
