Video tutorial
This case shows a used Mini Cooper for which a full service was claimed, but after a month, the car had completely worn shock absorbers, bluish smoke from the exhaust, and severe oil consumption. Mini parts are harder to find compared to other brands, and it is not advisable to recondition the engine due to this. The only solution is to replace the engine with a refurbished one from specialised companies, but this is very costly. When buying such a vehicle, never trust the seller; it is advisable to have it checked by a trusted mechanic before purchasing, preferably a Mini specialist, as not all mechanics are familiar with the specific issues of this engine. If the dealer refuses to let an external mechanic inspect the vehicle, it is a red flag; do not buy it. When purchasing these vehicles, prefer official Mini dealers. If you have already bought it, request a warranty repair or consider reselling the car (losing some money, but avoiding disproportionate repairs).

Frequently Asked QuestionsLocation of the Jack and Spare Wheel of the Toyota Yaris
In the unfortunate event that one of the wheels of the Toyota Yaris is punctured, it is useful to know the location of the lifting jack, the spare wheel, the tool to operate the jack, and to unscrew the wheel bolts. The jack is located under the driver's seat, secured to a bracket and protected by a plastic cover, which you can remove by acting on the fixing clips. The spare wheel is located under the floor panel of the boot, secured to the floor by a threaded plastic flange, alongside which you will find the tool, consisting of a bent bar, which is used to operate the jack on one side and to remove the wheel on the other. by ScegliAuto More videos
