Replacing Engine Air Filter with ITG Model

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

The air filter housing is located at the rear of the engine bay; once located, proceed to remove the screws securing the cover along the edges and the clamp holding the intake duct: this will make it easier to remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, extract the old filter from its housing, remove any debris present in the container (taking care not to let anything fall into the intake ducts), and insert the new filter: it is possible to install a racing filter which, in addition to improving performance, will avoid the need for replacement during subsequent services as it can simply be cleaned with the appropriate cleaning kit.
