Mini - Video tutorial

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Alternator
Operation: Disassembly and replacement of the alternator

Start by disconnecting the power supply by disconnecting the positive pole of the battery. Remove the coolant pipes which must be placed on their side to access the alternator. Raise the car on the bridge and start unscrewing the screws at the bottom, then lower the car and proceed from the bonnet with those at the top. Having freed the alternator from the supports and the belt, unhook it and pull it upwards to remove it from its housing. The operation is difficult and requires the disassembly of some components to have the necessary space for extraction. Once the faulty alternator has been removed, proceed with the reverse operations to replace it with the new component.

How to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
