How to remove the headlining panel on a Mini? Let’s see all the parts to remove to take off the covering panel. To remove the covering panel, start by removing the side handles with a screwdriver, then remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. Detach the covers at the sides of the pillars. Detach the headlining panel around the perimeter of the car's roof, removing it from inside the car. Be careful when pulling it out as it may break. Replace the panel with a new one or repair the old one.
