Mini Cooper alternator replacement

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Alternator

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove the alternator of a Mini Cooper R56. First of all, we open the bonnet of our car and begin to remove the upper clips that we find near the bumper, as shown in the video; then with a screwdriver unscrew the screws of the lights and remove them, disconnecting the electrical connector. At this point we remove the bolts of the mask, removing it too, and we are going to remove the screws in the fenders in order to loosen the bumper from the sides; then unscrew the alternator support screws, releasing the belt, and remove it.
