Removing the Radio from a Mini Cooper

Want to remove the radio from your Mini Cooper? Let's look at how to disassemble the pieces to access and remove the radio. Remove all the covering plastics above the dashboard, including the rounded trim around the stereo: detach it from the centre console. Once all the plastics around the stereo are removed, unscrew the securing screws located on either side of the unit with a screwdriver. Pull the stereo out with your hands and disconnect the electrical connectors (for power and the antenna). After installing the new stereo, simply turn it on and check its functionality.
