Model: Mini Mini R53, R50, R52 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Car door

To be able to remove the door lock from the Mini Cooper, you must first remove the plastic cover around the handle and also remove the entire door panel. To remove the panel it will be necessary to loosen the torx screws present in the points indicated in the video. Subsequently, the handle must be removed, which in order to be removed from its housing requires the removal of two other 5 mm bolts, which are located on the inside of the door. The last part to disassemble is the lock cylinder: you have to remove the covers that cover the torx screws located on the inside of the door, unscrew them and remove the cylinder.
