This guide shows how to remove the rear light on the 2017 Mini Countryman SE. First, open the boot and detach the rubber sheath between the tailgate seal and the light to expose the fixing screws. Using two or more plastic levers, apply pressure to the edge of the light's chrome trim to remove it. You can then unscrew the light's fixing screws and, being careful not to break the electrical cable, slide it outwards. At this point, disconnect the power cable. The installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
