Checking and Topping Up Power Steering Oil in Mini Cooper R50

Model: Mini Mini R53, R52, R50 - Years 2001-2007

First, open the car's bonnet using the lever located on the passenger side. In the centre of the engine bay, you will find the power steering oil reservoir in black. To avoid introducing dust or dirt, clean around the reservoir. Now unscrew the cap and check the fluid level using the minimum and maximum markings. Top up any missing oil with a suitable product (CHF 11S from Pentosin), and screw the cap back on. Unscrew again and recheck the level until it is nearly at maximum. After that, close the cap and the bonnet, and you're done!
