How to remove the cylinder head of a Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Cylinder head

Before we begin, we will need to open the hood and make sure the engine is cold. If this is not the case, we will have to wait for it to cool down. Then we can then start by removing the top engine cover. Once this is done, we will proceed with the disassembly of all the spark plug pins and the relative wiring, and then remove the spark plugs using the spark plug wrench supplied with the machine. Once this step is complete, we will have to remove all the air filter block and the injectors with the related injection system. At this point we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts placed along the perimeter of the cylinder head. Later we can remove the cylinder head, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.
