- Years 2001-2007 Let's see today the main instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the cylinder head of the Mini Cooper. First we open the bonnet of our car and start disassembling the upper cover and the air filter box, unscrewing the screws and removing the sleeve; then we remove the engine support and all the wiring that we find on the upper part, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the screws of the cylinder head cover, in order to remove it; let's remove the timing chain and undo the screws of the cylinder head to remove it, follow the video until the end!
