Reset Brake Warning Light on Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

Resetting the brake warning light on a Mini Cooper is very simple, just like resetting any other warning light that may appear on the dashboard (for example, the service light). Get in the car and turn on the ignition (not the engine, this is not necessary). Next to the speedometer, you will notice a button: press it to scroll through the various pages of the menu until you reach the section related to the brake warning light. Once you are here, hold down the button and you will see the reset start on the dashboard. After the reset is complete, release the button and you're done. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify.
