How to Reset the Oil Light on a Mini Cooper

If the oil light on your Mini Cooper keeps coming on despite having changed the fluid and filter, you simply need to perform a reset. First, turn on the ignition and use the button located at the end of the left-hand steering lever to navigate through the menu. Once you see the "Set/Info" option, press and hold the button below the rev counter for a few seconds. Scroll until you find the oil icon, then press and hold the button at the end of the left-hand lever. Once the reset is confirmed on the display, release the button and you're done.
