If the oil warning light on your Mini Cooper continues to come on even though you have already changed the fluid and filter, you simply need to perform a reset. First, turn on the ignition and use the button located at the end of the left steering wheel lever to navigate the menu. Once the "Set / Info" item is displayed, hold down the right button under the rev counter for a few seconds. Scroll until you find the oil icon and immediately afterwards hold down the button located at the end of the left lever.
