If you need to replace the battery of the remote key for this vehicle, refer to the following instructions: First, open the key with the release mechanism and use a pointed object to pry inside the key housing and lift the rear cover. Underneath, locate the battery and use the same pointed object to pry it out of its seat.

Obtain a new CR 2025 battery and place it in the housing. Then, reattach the remote cover and lock and close the emergency key.
