This guide reveals the procedure to remove the door panel on the Mini Cooper, following these simple steps. First, open the front door and start by unscrewing the screws found inside the holes of the panel's plastic trim; then pry at the edges of the panel to detach it from the rear clips until it is completely removed, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the door handle release cable; then reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
