To open the bonnet of the Mini One, do not look in the lower left part of the steering wheel. Instead, operate from the passenger side, where on the right side of the trim, you will find the lever that unlocks the bonnet. Pull it towards you and open the bonnet. If the bonnet does not open, pull the lever with one hand while gently lifting the bonnet with the other until it raises and you can unlock it with the front lever.
