Replacing the Key Battery on a Mini Cooper

In this tutorial, you will see the instructions for disassembling and replacing the battery in the Mini Cooper remote key, in simple steps. First, take your remote and press the physical key release button; then, pry off the back cover of the remote to access the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and reassemble your key, securing the various covers!
