This video demonstrates how to reset the brake change light on a Mini Countryman, an operation to be performed after replacing the brake pads. Start by turning on the instrument panel, not the engine, and press and hold the "trip" button located on the right side of the rev counter.

Once in the maintenance menu, scroll through the various options using the button at the end of the indicator stalk. At this point, select the front or rear brakes as needed, and press the button once to start the reset procedure, and a second time to confirm.
