How do you replace the battery of the Mini Countryman?

Model: Mini Mini R60, Countryman1 - Years 2010-2016
Part: Battery

The battery replacement of the Mini Countryman is carried out by opening the hood to gain access to the upper part of the engine compartment, immediately under the windshield on the passenger side. Here there will be a plastic grid that will have to be removed by taking out its fastening rivets: in this way it will be possible to access the underlying battery, loosening the screws that fasten it and disconnecting the cables connected to it. Once the old battery has been removed, it will be possible to install the new one, fixing it with the bolts and connecting the appropriate clamps.
