How do you reset the brake wear warning light on the 2017 Mini Cooper?

In order to reset the brake wear warning light on the 2017 Mini Cooper, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the appropriate cylinder. Once the ignition has been turned on, it will be necessary to move to the menu on the display using the lever at the bottom right of the speedometer. You will have to reach the item that concerns the reset of the brake warning light: by holding down the same lever a loading bar will appear. When this loading bar is complete, the warning light will be properly reset and will disappear from the car's instrument panel.

Now you need to remove the air filter cover from the engine. In any case, you will need to remove all obstructing parts until you reach the belt. In the diagram, you can see which pulley acts as the tensioner, so loosen it to remove the belt. Once the tension is off the belt, you can take it out and replace it without issues.
