Front Wheel Removal Instructions

Model: Mini Mini R53, R50, R52 - Years 2001-2007

To remove a wheel, first remove the hubcap from the centre of the wheel rim by prying it off in the designated groove with a small flat screwdriver; before lifting the vehicle with the jack, loosen the wheel bolts securing the rim to the hub: one of the bolts may be a locking type, so you will need the specific socket, usually found in the tool kit; once the bolts are loosened, position the jack under the sill and lift the vehicle, then place it on a jack stand; then complete the wheel removal.
