If you own a Mini Cooper Countryman (2010-2016) and want to learn how to correctly replace the key battery, pay attention to the following guide and follow the instructions provided. First, pull the top part of the cover outward to completely remove the physical emergency key. Once done, obtain a standard flat screwdriver and use it to remove the rear cover.

Finally, locate and remove the existing button battery and replace it with a new one (model CR2032).
