How do you replace the front window lifter on your Mini?

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Checks and maintenance

In order to replace the front window lifter of the Mini, you must first remove the corresponding door panel: the screws that fix this panel are located at the ends of the handrail and in the seat of the internal handle. After the panel has been completely removed, it will be possible to identify the underlying components: the fastening screws of the window regulator mechanism can be unscrewed and it will be possible to disconnect the connectors. After removing the old mechanism, it will be possible to insert the new one, fixing it with the appropriate screws and reassembling the corresponding panel.
