The reset procedure for the window regulator on a Mini Cooper involves turning on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch. Once it is on, close the door and press the button to raise the window, holding it down even after it has fully risen.

After a few seconds, you can release the button and lower the window completely: this will reset the window regulator, and you can then turn off the instrument panel by turning the key.
