How to Reset the Window Regulator Sensor on a Mini Cooper

After performing maintenance on your Mini Cooper model R56, you may find that the window regulator sensors do not respond to commands. To reset them, sit inside the vehicle and turn on the instrument panel. Then, press the button to raise the window for ten seconds until the window is fully up, then release it. Finally, press the same button to lower the window for another ten seconds and then release it. By doing this, you will have reset the window regulator sensors; if the problem persists, repeat the operation.
