Resetting the central locking of the automatic windows may be necessary after replacing the car battery, especially on a 2009 Mini Cooper. To perform the reset, enter the vehicle and press the buttons for opening and closing the driver's side window, followed by the passenger side window. Start by raising the window, hold the button for a few seconds, then lower it, holding the button for a few seconds, and move to the passenger side window. Once completed, the opening and closing should no longer present issues.
