How to replace the battery in a Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini F57, F56, F55, F54 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Battery

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the battery in the Mini Cooper Clubman, which is a very simple operation. To do this, we will need an 8mm socket wrench, another one of 13mm, and a set of screwdrivers. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted and open the hood. Then, release the left gasket and unscrew all the fixing bolts of the intake manifold. Once the entire block has been removed, open the filter box and remove the battery cover. At this point, disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative one, and unscrew the lower fixing bracket bolt. To install the replacement, follow the reverse procedure.

How to Remove the Steering Column on an Opel Meriva

Here’s how to remove the steering column on an Opel Meriva. Start by removing the plastic covers around the steering wheel (using a plastic trim tool), then remove the lower plastic covers. Unscrew the securing bolts at the bottom of the steering column using a socket wrench; remove the steering column (after freeing both ends) and prepare to fit the new part. Connect the new steering column to the vehicle body, tighten all the bolts, and finally reattach the plastic covers. Test the correct operation of the part.
