How to replace the external rear-view mirror on a Mini?

To replace the external rear-view mirror on a Mini, rotate the mirror clockwise until the screw on the left side of its mount is visible; this screw must be loosened and completely removed. Next, rotate the mirror counterclockwise and loosen the screw on the right side of the mount, removing this one completely as well. Once both screws are removed, you can pull out the mirror and replace it with a new one, securing it properly to its mount.
