Guide to replacing the timing chain of the Mini Cooper.

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Timing belt

Today's guide will show us the useful procedure for disassembling and replacing the timing chain of the Mini Cooper. First, we open the engine hood of our car and start removing the upper plastic cover of the engine and the intake sleeve. Then, we lift the car and remove the right front wheel, removing the serpentine belt and the crankshaft pulley. At this point, we unscrew the head cover screws to remove it, thus accessing the timing chain. We take the necessary references for the replacement of the chain, installing the original one.
