- Years 2007-2014 Removing the grille of the Mini Cooper is a very simple operation that can be done independently. Let's begin by disassembling the grille by removing the central part, the so-called "ring". To do this, simply pry inside the piece. Once the ring is removed, you can proceed to remove the front part by first unscrewing the normal screws and then the Torx screws. Continue removing the clips and finally detach the piece from the car. To insert the new grille, the process is the same. If you feel that it is safer to have a professional perform this intervention, the cost of the operation will be around €30.00.
