To perform the operation described, refer to the video above. Resetting the brake light on a Mini, as well as other warning lights, begins with turning on the ignition.

Next, check the display in the centre of the dashboard to see which lights are illuminated, then proceed with the reset. This is managed by the button located at the end of the lever, on the left side of the steering wheel, which allows you to select the illuminated warning light, reset it, and set the new mileage for the brake pad replacement reminder.
