How do you replace the interior rearview mirror of the Mini Cooper?

In order to replace the interior rearview mirror of the Mini Cooper, you need to grasp the support that holds the mirror to the windshield and rotate it counterclockwise: this will unlock the hook that secures the mirror to its housing, allowing you to pull it downwards. After removing the mirror, you can disconnect the connector located inside it, so that you can connect it to the new rearview mirror. After the connection, you will need to reposition the mirror in its housing, securing it and verifying that it functions correctly.
