To reset the Oil Service light on the Mini Cooper, press and hold the button located on the side of the speedometer. While holding the button, insert the ignition key into the ignition barrel and turn it to start the instrument panel.

Once the panel is on, release the button when the oil replacement interval appears. Then, press and hold the button again until the interval is reset.

At this point, you can turn off the ignition completely.
