In a Mini Cooper, the rear boot lid may get stuck, for example, due to a fault with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, it is still possible to perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this video. First, open the rear doors, then grab the seat base and lift it. Next, locate the indicated ring and pull it towards the front of the vehicle to unlock the lock. At this point, you will be able to open the boot lid and repair the faulty component.

How to Replace the Front Bumper on a BMW 3 Series
