In this tutorial, we can see how to remove the gear knob in the Mini Cooper, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure the vehicle is turned off, then grip the lower circular base, pull it upwards, and detach it from the support. Next, unlock the plastic cover by pressing the two indicated pins, and disconnect the newly released connector. At this point, we can grip the knob, pull it forcefully upwards, and separate it from the shaft. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure, but remember to transfer the old boot onto it.
