Today, you will learn how to replace the timing belt on a Mini Countryman. Start by opening the bonnet to remove the timing belt cover.

Use a socket to loosen the tensioner pulley to relieve the tension on the belt. With the same socket, unscrew the pin that secures the pulley to completely remove the belt.

Now, move on to fitting the new belt. Begin by placing the new belt on the pulley and tighten the tensioner and the pin to position the belt correctly.
