How to Replace the Timing Chain on a Mini Countryman?

To replace the timing chain on a Mini Countryman, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay. On the left side of the engine block, locate the timing chain. Access it by loosening the screws securing the side cover of the engine block, and also remove the right front wheel and the corresponding inner cover of the wheel arch. You can then unscrew the bolts securing the chain tensioner, reduce its tension, and replace it with a new part.
