How to replace the gear shift knob of the Mini Cooper.
Model: Mini Mini
F57, F56, F54, F55
- Years 2014-2023
Today's guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear shift knob of the Mini Cooper. First, let's get inside the car and start by detaching and removing the knob and the boot from the lever; to do this, simply pull upwards with force, as shown in the video. At this point, let's separate the boot from the gear shift knob, so that we can install the new one; then, let's attach the knob to the boot of the gear shift, and proceed to reassemble everything onto the gear lever. Let's make sure that everything is securely attached to the lever, without any play between the knob and the lever itself.

How to Remove the Front Brake Pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser
To remove the front brake pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the pins using a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel. Then, use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Next, remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the pins on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Install the new brake disc with all associated pins, secure the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the pin. by ScegliAuto More videos
