Mini - Video tutorial
Model: Mini Mini
R56, R55, R57
- Years 2007-2014 In this article, we will see how to replace the blower fan motor of the Mini Cooper R56. The procedure is simple and requires the use of the appropriate Torx key. To replace it, you must first remove the appropriate cover located in the driver's side interior, on the side of the central tunnel near the pedals. It is recommended to move the seat all the way back to have more space to work. Once you have located the cover, unscrew the Torx screws, then remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, locate the fan motor located at the top, disconnect the connections, and remove the old motor. Extract it and now it is possible to insert the new motor, connect it, and reinsert it in position. At this point, reinsert the cover and reinsert the fixing screws.
