How to Change the Blower Motor on a Mini R56

In this article, you will learn how to replace the blower motor on a Mini Cooper R56. The procedure is simple and requires the use of a specific Torx key. To replace it, first remove the cover located in the cabin on the driver's side, on the central tunnel next to the pedals; it is advisable to move the seat all the way back to have more space to work. Once you locate the cover, unscrew the Torx screws, then remove the cover. After removing the cover, locate the blower motor situated at the top, disconnect the connections, and remove the old motor. Now, insert the new motor, connect it, and refit it in position. At this point, replace the cover and reinsert the fastening screws.
