Today, follow these main instructions for disassembling and replacing the battery of the Mini Cooper key fob. First, take your key fob and remove the plastic cover on the back by prying at the sides with something thin and pointed; then, remove the battery and replace it with a new one (of the correct type and with the same code), as shown in the video.

At this point, insert the battery in the correct orientation and refit the plastic cover, checking the operation of the controls!
