Replacing the Air Filter on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

To replace the air filter, proceed as follows: 1) Gently disconnect the cable from the "MAF" sensor. 2) Loosen the metal clamp that connects the rubber hose to the "MAF" sensor support. 3) Carefully slide off the hose. 4) Remove the screws securing the "Air Filter Housing". 5) Remove the "Air Filter Housing" cover. 6) Take out the air filter from its location. 7) Clean the "Air Filter Housing" with a dry cloth. 8) Install the new filter in its place. 9) Close the "Air Filter Housing" with its cover, ensuring it is seated properly. 10) Screw the screws back into the "Air Filter Housing". 11) Gently insert the hose into the "MAF" sensor support, tightening the metal clamp. 12) Reconnect the "MAF" sensor cable.

How to Change the Diesel Filter on a Renault Captur 1.5 dCi

The diesel filter on the Renault Captur is always of the immersion type, but instead of being located at the top of the engine bay, it is positioned lower, inside the front right wheel arch (passenger side), practically under the headlamp. To replace it, it is advisable to lift the vehicle, remove the front right wheel and the corresponding inner lining to access the filter location. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the support clamp to extract it from its housing and disconnect the connector and pipes. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the cap, remove the old filter and insert the new one, also replacing the O-ring seals, and then reverse the steps for installation. Before starting the engine, turn the ignition on and off several times to allow the filter to fill.
