How to replace the air filter on a Mini? Let’s see how. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop. Open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws around the perimeter), remove the cover of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly against the walls). Finally, refit the air box cover and tighten the screws on the sides. Close the bonnet after replacement.
