Resetting the service light on Mini R56

Model: Mini Mini R55, R57, R56 - Years 2007-2014

To remind us to perform the service on the Mini, once the expected kilometers have been traveled, a reminder appears on the instrumentation. After carrying out all the operations provided for in the maintenance plan, we proceed with resetting the module that handles the notification. Sitting in the driver's seat, we turn on the instrument panel, make sure that the temperature is displayed on the small tachometer display, press the button to the right of the display to bring up the maintenance menu. Using the button at the top of the lever to the left of the steering wheel, we select the oil icon, wait for the word "Reset" to appear, press the lever button until the updated mileage appears.
